Accounting is the information backbone of any business and is critical for the successful management of any organization. The Business Analytics major involves collecting and analyzing data using computational, statistical and mathematical models and methods to achieve competitive advantage through better decisions in uncertain business environments. Graduates are prepared for jobs involving data-driven business intelligence, decision models and big data analytics.

Economics is the study of choices. Unlike many other disciplines, studying economics does not teach you specific answers to a given question, but rather how to approach the question, and reasonable and rational methods for obtaining the answer.

The Operations and Supply Chain Management major prepares you to design, manage and improve supply chains that ensure the efficient and effective flow of goods, services and information. Open to all UNC Charlotte undergraduate students, the Undergraduate Certificate in Entrepreneurship can provide students with an understanding of how to think and act entrepreneurially in efficient and effective ways.
From the beginning of your undergraduate career until graduation, the award-winning Niblock Student Center, based on the third floor of the Friday Building, is designed to help you achieve academic and professional success.
