This book is very close to my heart, it is a collection guided by the eloquence of the words, gently uncovers the knots of human emotion, revealing the common threads that connect us all. It's like taking a walk into someone else's shoes and finding parts of ourselves in their stories.

In life we get to meet a lot of people, some of them are just acquaintances and some of them are the people you love and only there are a few you love the most. These are the people with whom you are stuck with ifs and buts. It’s good giving people chances, there always should be room to rectification. To be able to rectify mistakes miscommunications and misunderstandings but one should not settle for the recurring behavior. When we love somebody we try to see all the positive things they have and we defend them in front of others not realizing the negative side of them that is going to bother us at the very later stage. Basically the idea of love makes you vulnerable to them. And when you are not in a good place with them you are stuck with ifs and buts. It’s the case what if I have misunderstood them, what if they still love me , what if I am not good enough and what if I made a mistake and much more reasons like that and that’s not it; now the buts arrive when you start digging the reasons like but I love them, but I can’t live without them but I can’t love anyone else the way I loved them , this is basically underestimating your capability of loving someone that is the thing one should not do and that is the only thing most of us do which results us being stuck with ifs and buts with our lifechoices.
