As the director of Mesa Parks, Recreation and Community Facilities, I am thrilled to offer a wide range of recreational classes, activities and events for people of all ages and abilities We have over 2,060 acres of park land, including 209 parks with unique playgrounds, first-class athletic fields, 9 aquatic centers, splash pads, trails, 6 recreation centers, the Mesa Convention Center, Amphitheatre, The POST, Dobson Ranch Golf Course, a cemetery, and 2 spring training baseball stadiums! Our refreshed PLAYBOOK magazine is published seasonally and contains information about the classes, activities, and special events produced by the Parks, Recreation and Community Facilities Department. We offer hundreds of programs and classes including adult sports, youth sports, adaptive programs, tennis lessons and leagues, pickleball lessons, water exercise, swim lessons, school break camps, enrichment classes such as STEM, Danger Scouts, yoga, martial arts, and more! Reservations for tennis courts, pickleball courts and ball machines can be made up to 2 weeks in advance
MTPC has balls, grips, shock absorbers, and water bottles available for sale in the pro shop. MTPC can loan out tennis rackets and pickleball paddles for free with an ID. We also sell rackets and paddles!
