COKESBURY'S ROAD TRIP VBS 2025

Road Trip VBS is based on Joshua 1:9 (CEB): “The LORD your God is with you wherever you go.” This verse reminds us that God’s presence is always near, no matter where the journey of life takes us. Road Trip invites us on an exciting journey as we discover new places, new friends, and ways that we can discover God’s goodness and presence everywhere.

Road Trip takes place out on the open road in a super large, imagination-powered vehicle, big enough to take all the kids at your VBS, called Travelers, on amazing adventures to exciting destinations.

During each assembly session, Travelers will join the Navigator (Assembly Leader) and Scout, an energetic and curious dog, and learn that God is with them in whatever situation they face. Each day, Scout and the Navigator lead the Travelers through twists, turns, excitement, and anticipation as they ma e their way to fictitiously familiar locations, face new challenges, and encounter new people and animals as they travel. With the help of great stories from the Navigators’ Guide (the Bible), Travelers will explore timeless Bible stories that show how people from the Old and New Testaments journeyed with God through many locations and situations and found strength in God’s presence wherever they went.
