China Scholarship Council Visitors
On Sunday, June 15, 2025, Concordian was honored to welcome a distinguished delegation of five visitors from the China Scholarship Council (CSC). The team included Ms. Lulu Tian, Deputy Secretary-General of CSC, and Mr. Xiaomeng Sun, Director of the Enrollment Division for International Students in China, among other representatives.
The purpose of the visit was to explore Concordian’s campus and facilities as a potential future major CSCA (Academic Proficiency Test) Paper-based Test Center in Bangkok.
The CSCA, developed under the commission of the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China and led by the CSC, aims to establish a unified and standardized system for international undergraduate admissions. It provides Chinese universities with a scientific, fair, and authoritative benchmark for evaluating international applicants. Comparable to the SAT in the United States and the EJU in Japan, the CSCA covers seven subjects: Professional Chinese (Humanities Chinese, Business Chinese, STEM Chinese, Medical Chinese) and Foundational Subjects (Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry). With recognition from more than 2,000 universities across China, CSCA is set to become a powerful reference standard for students aspiring to study in China.
This collaboration represents an exciting opportunity for Concordian. Becoming an official CSCA test center would not only provide our students with direct access to one of the most important university admission pathways in China but also elevate Concordian’s international reputation and leadership in education. We are thrilled about the possibilities this partnership brings and look forward to the strong cooperation between Concordian and the CSC in preparing students for their future studies in China.
