Summer School in China: A Journey of Business Learning and Cultural Discovery
From June 23 to July 9, 2025, nearly 40 enthusiastic Concordian students from Grades 6–9 embarked on the very first project-based summer school to China. The program was developed by the Concordian team, and combined business learning, cultural exploration, and reflection in three distinct phases:

Phase 1: 3 Days at Concordian
Students began their journey at school, spending three days learning the foundations of business concepts, Chinese language, and Chinese culture. These sessions prepared them for the experiences ahead.
Phase 2: 10 Days in Yunnan
Students then flew to China for ten days of authentic learning and cultural immersion in Kunming, Dali, and Lijiang. Each day included lessons with Chinese teachers, hands-on projects, and real-world observations. Students visited historical landmarks, interacted with local communities, explored modern business districts, and experienced how technology and tradition shape daily life. They also studied sustainable business models, enjoyed delicious local foods, and admired cultural artifacts.

Phase 3: 3 Days Back at Concordian
Returning to Bangkok, students spent three days reflecting on their experiences and finalizing their business plans. They presented these in Chinese, demonstrating both their language growth and entrepreneurial thinking, before showcasing their work at a lively Business Fair for parents, teachers, and administrators.
More Than Just Learning
The program was more than an academic experience. It was filled with creativity, fun, and friendship. Students collaborated closely, built confidence, and developed fresh perspectives on both business and culture.
This first summer school to China was truly a success, and we are excited to welcome new groups of students to join the next unforgettable journey!
