Our team includes former chief advisors to Michigan Governors Rick Snyder and Gretchen Whitmer, as well as a former President of the Michigan Economic Development Corporation. Their insider knowledge enhances our ability to navigate complex government systems.

Our track record speaks for itself. We have successfully influenced laws and regulations on critical issues like healthcare funding, IT contracts, and redistricting legislation, demonstrating our ability to shape the regulatory landscape.

By maintaining strong relationships with key government officials at the federal, state, and local levels, our team’s credibility enables us to articulate client positions effectively and achieve favorable outcomes.

Regulatory

Our Regulatory Department is not just a service, but a strategic partner. Whether you are launching a new venture, expanding into a regulated market, or responding to a government inquiry, we deliver clear guidance, strategic foresight, and results-driven advocacy. We proactively navigate the complexities of federal, state, and local regulations, ensuring your business is always one step ahead. Government regulation profoundly impacts day-to-day business operations and can shape—and sometimes shake—the very foundation of your industry. Regulatory and enforcement actions by federal and state agencies can impose significant costs and, in some cases, completely shut down operations. If you’re in a highly regulated industry like automotive, cannabis, credit union, gaming, healthcare, insurance, or liquor, or facing a one-time compliance challenge, we’ll tailor our approach to your unique business goals.

What sets us apart?

Our attorneys are not just legal experts—they are industry insiders. They have not only mastered the laws and regulations governing these industries but have also helped shape them. This deep industry insight is what sets us apart and gives us a unique understanding of your business needs.
