WHO ARE WE?

Since 1900, the Emerald has provided news and information to the University of Oregon. Now a modern, studentrun media company, we offer tailored solutions to help your business connect with UO students, faculty, and the wider Eugene community. Our mission is to train students, serve the campus, and sustain a successful nonprofit. Rebranded as Emerald Media Group in 2013, we’ve expanded our reach and resources—creating more opportunities for us and, more importantly, for you.

Daily Emerald newspaper print editions are published every Monday when classes are in session. 2,500 copies are distributed free at 80+ campus hightraffic locations and the surrounding area.The Emerald Street Team hands out copies in person to students.

Emerald Media Group accepts and encourages paid advertising across all platforms. However, we reserve the right to refuse any advertisement at our discretion.

We will not accept advertisements that:

• Include libelous or defamatory content

• Violate local, state, or federal law

• Promote discrimination or hate based on race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected status

• Imitate Emerald editorial content in a misleading way

All ads must be clearly distinguishable from editorial content and may be labeled as “Paid Advertisement” when necessary.
