Whistler’s spring and fall bring cool mornings and mild afternoons, with possible frost or light snow. Layers and a raincoat are essential. Summer offers hot days and cool evenings, so pack summer clothes but bring layers and a rain jacket just in case.

12 Whistler Village Pedestrian Stroll – The heart of the resort, the pedestrian-only Village, is filled with restaurants, shops, and galleries. Village Stroll.
13 Florence Petersen Park – Explore the wetland boardwalk, public art pieces, and old-growth trees in the village. 4325 Main St.
14 Whistler Olympic Plaza – The Olympic Rings and Paralympic Agitos, once marking the entrance to Medals Plaza during the Games, remain a popular photo spot today. Just beyond them, eight aluminum panels honour every athlete who competed in the 2010 Olympic Winter Games. 4163 Village Stroll.
15 Fitzsimmons Creek Bridge & Peace Park – Located between the Upper and Lower Village, the Fitzsimmons Creek flows from the Fitzsimmons Glacier in the Garibaldi Ranges and divides Whistler and Blackcomb mountains. A great place to enjoy a rest from shopping or strolling and take in views of both mountains. Trail starts at Parking Lot 1 on Blackcomb Way.
16 17 Valley Trail & Lost Lake Park – Take the Valley Trail walking path to Lost Lake Park, a popular spot for hiking, swimming, fishing, and peaceful forest views. Located 1.5 km (1 mile) from the PassivHaus on a modestly sloping gravel path or the nature trails marked “walking only.” 4700 Lost Lake Rd.

TRANSPORTATION
Explore the townsite of Whistler and the surrounding areas with access to free public transit and taxis.
Rocky Mountaineer Motorcoach Transfer – Your journey with us includes a motorcoach transfer to and from the train and your overnight accommodation in Whistler. For timing and location of transfers, please ask your onboard Hosts or the front desk of your hotel.
Village Shuttles & Public Transit – The Whistler Village Shuttles run year-round, offering free service between the North and South ends of the village. From mid-June to early September, a seasonal shuttle also connects Whistler Village and Lost Lake. For travel beyond these routes, paid public transit is available throughout Whistler.
Taxis – Taxis service the Whistler area 24/7. If you would like assistance, taxis can be arranged through your hotel front desk or local Rocky Mountaineer representative in Whistler.
