The 2025-2026 season will feature outstanding musical and theatrical presentations on the Amy and Vernon Faulconer Stage in the Rogers Palmer Performing Arts Center as well as entertaining performances in the Jean Browne Theatre. In addition, TJC’s Earth and Space Science Center and the Tyler Museum of Art will have impressive ongoing programs and exhibits to enjoy.
It is truly a privilege for TJC to serve our communities by creating access to the arts and sciences through marvelous programs and events, right here at home.

Through the vibrant lens, quirky charm, and slightly unsettling humor of Roald Dahl, we follow James on an extraordinary and wonder filled adventure towards belonging. Written and set in the 1920s, this play is a tale of class consciousness that mirrors modern times. Yank, a worker in the belly of a ship, goes on a twisted quest to find an understanding of what it means to be a cog in the American machine.

Often considered Plautus' greatest play, this tale follows twin brothers, Menaechmus of Syracuse and Menaechmus of Epidamnus who were separated at a young age. When one comes to Epidamnus in search of his long lost twin, a series of comedic events unfold as they are mistaken for each other.

This play is a highly theatrical production loosely based on the real-life events of 13 women pilots who were chosen to be tested to become some of the first American astronauts. Outperforming their male counterparts, the women were left grounded after being betrayed by one of their own. This story explores the drive to overcome when the deck is stacked against you as well as providing inspiration to future generations.

MARS: THE ULTIMATE VOYAGE
THE EARTH AND SPACE SCIENCE CENTER FEATURING HUDNALL PLANETARIUM
Ever wondered what it will take for astronauts to travel to the Moon, Mars and beyond? What challenges will they face on their long journey? How will they stay motivated and healthy in their spacecraft so far away from Earth?
On a two-year journey to Mars, astronauts will face extraordinary challenges, including long distance, an enclosed environment, isolation, altered gravity and radiation. What will it take to get them safely to Mars and then back home?
This animated planetarium show highlights NASA research and training initiatives that are preparing the next generation of astronauts. It shows how creativity, collaboration, communication and expertise in a variety of fields are key to the success of deep space travel — while also inspiring the next generation of STEM professionals!

MESSENGERS OF TIME AND SPACE
THE EARTH AND SPACE SCIENCE CENTER FEATURING HUDNALL PLANETARIUM
"Messengers of Time and Space" is a stunning visual and educational experience that leads you on a journey through the dynamic Universe during a night of observing at the International Gemini Observatory. The show reflects on Gemini’s unique rapid-response abilities as it joins forces with cutting-edge observatories like NSF–DOE (National Science Foundation and U.S. Department of Energy) Vera C. Rubin Observatory and LIGO (Laser Interferometer Gravitational-wave Observatory) to bring forth a new era of astronomy.

Join the Earth and Space Science Center for monthly star parties. You’ll find plenty of telescopes for viewing and even more astronomy buffs to help you navigate your way around the night sky. Admission is free.

The Earth and Space Science Center at TJC offers the opportunity for Valentine couples to enjoy an evening of “Love Under the Stars.” Guests will enjoy a love-themed show in the domed theater, a light meal, music and telescope viewing (weather permitting.) In honor of Yom HaShoah and 81 years since the liberation of the Nazi concentration camps, this program gives voice to those silenced by history. Centered around Donald McCullough’s haunting “Holocaust Cantata: Songs from the Camps,” the concert features poetry and music written by prisoners during the Holocaust, interwoven with narration, piano and cello. Throughout the month of April, TJC offers an annual Arts Festival packed with performances, exhibits, guest speakers and more, at various times and locations across the TJC Central Campus and at the Tyler Museum of Art. Organized and led by the School of Humanities, Communications and Fine Arts (under the leadership of the HCFA Dean, Dr. Jim Richey), the festival provides rich, learning experiences for all ages. This event is a collaboration of the Art, Communication Studies, Dance, Education, English, Humanities/ Philosophy/Foreign Language, Music, and Theatre Departments. Other areas that join in the festival include, but are not limited to, the Honors program, Visual Communication, International Day and Student Life. This celebration has something for everyone and is a great way to enjoy all that TJC has to offer!
