Overview
• This UK degree transfer program is for Malaysian students at Brickfields Asia College only, for direct entry into Year 2 of LLB Law (M108) or Year 3 (M112) of LLB Law.
• Provides BAC students with the foundation to pursue a professional legal career.
• Delivers a rigorous understanding of legal principles as well as an examination of law in different theoretical and social contexts with a constant eye on regional and global developments.
• You will take 120 credits per year, with optional modules allowing you to tailor your degree to your interests and career goals.
Community Law Clinic
You can get involved with our Studentled Community Law Clinic offering free legal advice to those unable to access justice. Taken as a module or by summer volunteering, students develop key skills such as client interviewing, legal research and document writing. Throughout you are supervised by top practitioners, solicitors and barristers, partners in law firms and head of chambers, and get the chance to actively work on real cases.
Mooting

A moot competition is a simulated legal argument before an appellate court. Mooters must research the law relevant to the problem, prepare written submissions and present their argument orally to the moot judge. We boast an excellent, and growing, mooting programme, which provides students with the opportunity to participate in a broad range of competitions.

“The lecturers have been truly supportive whenever I had any questions. It would be impossible to count all the ways they have helped me in my studies and career. The University of Exeter is an extremely student friendly place. The campus is truly amazing, with lots of greenery and the Sports Park is great. There are always different events for students to develop themselves. I represented the University of Exeter in the Sports Arbitration Moot 2022. I was also involved in different pro-bono activities, such as Exeter Loves Legal Aid, Access to Justice Clinic and Miscarriage of Justice. I was the Secretary of Exeter Malaysian Society too. The people in Exeter are so friendly and welcoming. Do join Exeter, you will not have any regrets!”
