Unreasonable Impact Asia Pacific 2020

Page 1

Unreasonable Impact, a multi-year initiative in partnership with Barclays, was born from the shared belief that high growth entrepreneurial solutions are best primed for scale when supported by a major corporation which is able to accelerate their growth. The partnership was launched to scale and support growth equity companies addressing some of the world’s most pressing societal and environmental challenges, whilst also creating jobs. The initiative, now in its fourth year, was designed to ensure that the fastest growing and most impactful companies across different geographies (Europe, the Americas, and Asia Pacific) are supported with advice and guidance from a global community of world-class mentors and industry specialists, in order to further scale their already highly profitable business models and consequently yield the greatest impact. With the global pandemic continuing to affect all aspects of life, the Unreasonable Impact Asia Pacific 2020 programme will run as a multi-week virtual gathering supporting growth-stage ventures across the region, including China, Hong Kong. With the aim of rapidly scaling-up the 12 selected entrepreneurs, we have developed and designed a series of virtual sessions and curated facilitations to ensure that they are provided with needed resources, mentorship, and a global network of support. Each virtual session has been meticulously and carefully curated to be equally impactful, engaging and beneficial as its in-person equivalent. The launch of Unreasonable Impact Asia Pacific 2020 follows the launch of the virtual programs in the UK & Europe and The Americas earlier this Fall and marks the final cohort of the Unreasonable Impact 2020 Initiative. With 132 ventures collectively reaching 226 million customers, supporting more than 81,500 jobs in more than 180 countries and having raised over $3.2 billion in funding and over $2.9 in revenue, Unreasonable Impact is committed to scaling up entrepreneurial solutions that will help employ thousands worldwide while solving our most pressing societal challenges.

Whilst this technology was developed to lower costs and protect nature, the Mobi-Air team gained true inspiration from nature itself. The new low-energy low-turbulence multi-vortex tornado technology was inspired by the naturally forming multi-vortex tornadoes which exert very high G-Forces and use minimal amounts of energy to operate. All in, this newly developed closed-loop energy-free HVAC saves up to 85% of HVAC energy consumption and tonnage.
