Dado Width Disclaimer
Cabinet Box Component Options
• When choosing to apply a dado to a cabinet component, you must always be aware of the finished thickness of the part that's being inserted into the dado.
• All material thicknesses come with a +/- tolerance, meaning the thickness could fluctuate as much as 0.5mm.
• Adding finish to your part will also increase the overall thickness.
• The width of your dado should always be slightly wider than the finished material thickness.
• WalzCraft recommends setting your dado width after measuring your part's finished thickness.

When applying edgeband material to a custom pressed panel or a cabinet box component, the finished thickness of the panel must be 3/4" thick or less.
• When custom pressing, we recommend using 11/16" core material to achieve a nominal 3/4" finished thickness.
