What is JOTA-JOTI?
Jamboree on the Air (JOTA) & Jamboree on the Internet (JOTI)
JOTA-JOTI is the world’s biggest Scout event, and it happens every year in October! Millions of Scouts from around the world take part using:
Radios (JOTA – Jamboree-on-the-Air)
The Internet (JOTI – Jamboree-on-the-Internet)
You can:
• Make new Scout friends from different countries
• Talk over the radio or online
• Play games, do challenges, and learn cool new things
• Take part in fun international activities
What You’ll Need
• A positive attitude
• Scout neckerchief and uniform
• A notebook or JamPuz card (if doing JamPuz)
• Help from your Leader if using radios or internet
• A big smile and a loud “Hello!”
How to Talk to Scouts Around the World
Whether you're using a radio, online chat, or even sending postcards, here's how to introduce yourself:
• Say your first name only
• Say what country or Scout group you’re from
• Share something fun about yourself
Example:
"Hi! I’m Josh from Killnascully Cubs in Ireland. I love hiking and I’ve just earned my Adventure Skills Level 2 badge!"

JamPuz Code Challenge
JamPuz = Jamboree Puzzle
It’s a game where you collect special codes from the Scouts you meet.
• Each time you meet a new Scout or group, they’ll give you a code (like CUB-987 or FRI-234)
• Write the code on your JamPuz sheet
• See how many different ones you can collect!
You can also give your own code if you’ve been assigned one.
